Position Overview
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for assisting the Project Director in coordinating all ?MBC operations.
Essential Job Functions
- Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the MBC.
- Provide program implementation support to the Project Director.
- Disseminate information about the MBC program to the minority business community.
- Assist with the Development of the Indianapolis MBDA Resources Directory.
- Assist with the preparation of MBC marketing materials.
- Assist with the preparation of MBC ?success stories.?
- Coordinate the establishment of workshops and seminars.
- Additional duties and projects as assigned by the Project Director.
Requirements
- Bachelor?s degree from an accredited college in business, finance or related field.
- At least five years of experience in the public, private or non-profit sectors working with minority owned businesses.
- Must be capable of acting in a consultative role.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Statewide travel required.
- Demonstrated leadership and teamwork on projects.
